Nyamatuta Primary School & Community Water Supply
With backing from +1 Global Fund for WASH, we extended a water pipeline from our resource center to the local school, installing access points and connecting over 50 households. The school now receives 6,000 liters of clean water daily, eliminating the need for pupils to walk long distances for drinking and cooking water.
Environment Conservation & Climate Change Education
A program for junior learners and promoting greening of our learning institutions with both Fruit and Non-fruit trees. Programmes prepares empowers learners with Environmental education which is integrated into the Environment and Wildlife clubs for sustainability. The school also benefits through reforestation programme and nursery propagation education offered in collaboration with Kenya Forestry Service. This initiative fosters young environmental stewards and supplies seedlings for reforestation.
Anti-GBV and Community Wellness Program
Supported by the European Union Grassroot Initiatives project, implemented by ISF-Kenya, we organized community wellness and Anti-GBV campaigns to promote resilience and end Gender-Based Violence. Through programme, GIS-enabled GBV cases reporting, & management system was developed (https://iscodgbvreporting.org/) and knowledgebase where for people can learn about GBV, how to report and responding to GBV Cases
